Writing Update: I'm Back!
Goodness gracious it's been a while...
Introduction…
So…hi y’all…it’s been a while…yeah…I took a bit of a break from writing in general…then the break went longer than I expected…and once I got back to writing I kept forgetting about this…but I’m back…and I’ll be seriously trying to keep it consistent…anyway…despite my absence here…I’ve gotten quite a LOT of writing done…yay!
Current Word Count…
When I posted my last update WtTB was at 28,500 words…I am NOW at 37,500 words!!! That is 9,000 words since my last update…I’m still writing 500 words per day and it’s working very well for me…I am now only 2,500 words away from the minimum word count for a novel…so exciting…
Plans…
I have been learning more and more about the writing process…and I’m also realizing how much WORK it’s gonna take to make sure WtTB is polished and ready to publish…I will still be done with the first draft by the end of May…then I will be working on the second draft…while I work on that I will also be working on plotting Project #14…making sure I put a good structure in place for when I start writing it…WtTB second draft should be done by the end of August…after that, I’ll be getting it out to some alpha readers…and we’ll see where it goes after that…I’m not sure yet…but I’ll likely start the first draft of Project #14 while the WtTB alpha reading is going on…this is of course a very loose plan…but if everything goes well…that’s how it should go…
In Conclusion…
It’s gonna be a fun rest of this year…I’m trying to get things done…so expect more updates…have a wonderful day!
