Writing Update: 40,000 Words!!!!!

A Crazy Big Milestone...

Introduction…

Well…it’s been a fun two weeks…I’m a bit sick today…but the past two weeks have been good and productive…lots of plotting and planning…and I hit a great milestone that I’m so very proud of!

Current Word Count…

I’ve finally reached 40,000 words a few days ago…which is amazing…WtTB is now technically novel length…and that’s a milestone that I’m really very happy about…anyway…WtTB is currently at 41,000 words…I wrote 1,000 words per day the past two days…not today though…because I have a headache…but I think I might keep writing 1,000 words per day for the rest of the first draft…so fun…actually it’s a lot of work…but still fun…anyway anyway…since my last update…(37,500 words)…I’ve written 3,500 words…which doesn’t seem right to me…I feel like I wrote less than that…but the numbers don’t lie…so…moving on…

The Other Things…

I’ve been working on some other writing things that aren’t writing WtTB…one of those things is character profiling for Project 14…a ton of fun…I love making characters…it’s likely my favorite part of writing…then the final thing I’ve been doing is planning for the future…I’ve been laying out everything that needs to be done and about how long it will take…I’ve planned out the timelines of my next five books after WtTB and have very rough release dates for all of them…so my plan lasts for about the next five years…after that I think I’ll take a break from writing for a few months to a year…I don’t know we’ll see how it goes…what I do know…is the last three books…Projects 4, 17, and 21 are going to be insane…and I’m really excited to write them…

In Conclusion…

Lots of things are going on…but everything is going great…I’m so very excited for the future…I honestly never saw myself getting this far…it’s so crazy to think about how far I’ve come…and there’s still so much further to go…and I’m eager for the journey…
