A Random Rant: Waterproof Books?

Introduction…

Welcome to this random rant that I bugged my good friend with, in the morning while I was getting ready for the day…I do this every now and again…and my friend doesn’t mind…but I have fun…and I get to talk about the random things that enter my brain…also…sorry this post is late…I was really sick over the weekend and couldn’t write it…anyway…y’all voted for this…so here it is!

Why don’t these exist?

I love to read…a lot…I read all the time…I read while I walk…I read while I eat…while I brush my teeth…I read doing anything…except for showering…which is quite frustrating…cuz I can’t bring a paper book…or my phone(ebook)…into the shower…cuz…water…so I have to choose between finding out what happens next…or keeping myself clean and healthy…which is a very unfair choice for me to have to make…it would be really helpful if books were waterproof…seriously though…why isn’t that a thing yet? In this day and age…with all the technology we have…I saw a video today with a guy using his mind to control the cursor on his computer…and you’re telling me we can do that…but not make waterproof books? It makes no sense…

It’s possible…

My friend told me that waterproof notebooks are a thing…and I mean…I didn’t fact-check that…but this is a random rant of my frustrations…it’s not a factual essay about important things…anyway…if waterproof notebooks are a thing…waterproof books should be a thing…I would buy waterproof books…for the simple fact of being able to read in the shower…

In Conclusion…

I know this was a short post…I hope it made you chuckle a little at least…this is a real frustration of mine whenever I’m in the middle of a book and have to do other things…and it’s not only showering…I’d love to be able to read in the pool…anyway…I’m gonna go take a shower…quickly…then finish the book I’m reading…have a wonderful day…
