My faith...
Introduction…
This will be quite a short post…but recently I began to think about how I’ve never really addressed my faith and beliefs on here before…though my faith is very important to me…so…I’m writing this post that I should have written months ago…better late than never…
What I Believe…
To put it simply…I am a Christian and I believe in the Bible…I believe it’s 100% true and follow it accordingly…it’s quite simple really…I believe in the second coming of Christ…which has yet to happen…and I believe in reaching the world for Jesus…I grew up in church…which has always been a center point of my life…everything is based and planned around church…I personally came to Jesus myself at the age of fifteen…and I haven’t turned away since…though there have been ups and downs…I believe in laying hands on the sick and praying for them so that they will be healed and I also believe in the filling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues…which I know is somewhat controversial…but that is what I believe…
How My Faith Affects My Writing…
I believe any talent I may have for writing comes from God…I am sure to weave my faith and the gospel message into every story I write…because any success my stories may give me…will be because of God…so I am sure to give Him His place in my books…I have characters who do not believe who come to believe in God over the course of the book…I have characters who are firm in their faith throughout the entire story…and I have characters who believe but have their ups and downs and doubts…though by the end of the story, their belief is as strong as mine…
In Conclusion…
I just wanted to address this in a short post with no flair or anything crazy…just some simple information about me…this is all very important to me…so I believe it’s important for me to share it with all of you…if y’all have any questions…feel free to ask them in the comments…
